Lest we forget why we oppose these wars

As the U.S. Occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan stretch on longer than any war this country has previously been engaged in, . . .

as the 'Hope and Change' president racks up a larger body count than his predecessor, extending the carnage to new nations, targeting new communities, . . .

as the wealth this nation has stolen from the world is squandered on war crimes and redistributed to those who already control it all, . . .

it is important that we reflect, not just on the wasted treasury and tarnished national reputation these policies represent, but on the true victims of that policy.
