Want the 2011 GGP Annual Meeting in Your Community?

The Georgia Green Party is seeking supporter(s) to step forward that are willing to serve as a local contact for the 2011 Annual Meeting to convene in late Spring to early Summer.

In keeping with its interests in supporting party growth outside of the “Perimeter” and promoting regional diversity and balance, the Co-conveners for this meeting, Al Herman and Denice Traina are looking for an individual (or group) willing to act as a local contact/liaison for hosting the meeting outside of Atlanta, where it has been for the past several years. Responsibilities would include supporting the work of the conveners in securing a venue and arranging for meals and lodging, and developing an itinerary for the event. These activities have proven to be highly rewarding, as well as useful in the establishment and growth of local affiliates for those that have served in this capacity in the past.

Interested individuals should contact Denice and Al by e-mail at gpga-nc-conveners@georgiagreenparty.org, or by calling the party’s phone at 678-298-9463.

We hope to publish the call to the convention with our March state committee meeting and have a March 5th deadline for offers to help host the 2011 event. We hope to hear from you, soon.
